I've always been passionate about Chicago—its history, its hidden stories, its food, and the distinct character of every neighborhood. I've been fascinated by the city's haunted and notorious corners since I was a kid growing up in Michigan, and that curiosity ultimately inspired me to make Chicago my home.
I moved here in my twenties after graduating from college. Unsure of my next steps, I started waiting tables at Charlie's Ale House in Andersonville. That job taught me how much I genuinely enjoy working with people. While Charlie's is no longer around, the passion I discovered there has stayed with me ever since.
Real estate was a natural next step. I earned my license in 2006—just before the market crashed—and quickly learned how to adapt. I worked with investors to build portfolios during a challenging time, then partnered with developers to acquire land and help rebuild the new-construction market in Logan Square, Wicker Park, Ukrainian Village, and Humboldt Park. Through those projects, I learned what it truly takes to build a home, from the foundation all the way to the kitchen cabinets. That hands-on knowledge gives me a unique perspective on every transaction.
I love walking through properties with clients, explaining how a home was built, what it will take to maintain it, and what potential issues to look out for. My goal is always to empower my buyers with the information they need to move forward confidently. I believe positive energy during the buying process sets the tone for years of happy ownership.
For sellers, I understand how stressful it can be to prepare a beloved home for the market. I walk clients through potential scenarios, set clear expectations, and build a smart strategy to attract the right buyer and achieve the best outcome. I track market trends closely and enjoy crafting the perfect plan of attack to launch a listing at exactly the right moment.
And for clients who are simply considering a move, I believe knowledge is the ultimate superpower. Knowing when to buy, sell, pause, or pivot can ease so much uncertainty. I keep my clients informed of market shifts so they can make the decision that's right for them.
Helping people navigate major life moments is what drives me in real estate. Whether someone is buying or selling, it's a significant transition—one I'm dedicated to making as smooth, informed, and positive as possible.
Nearly 20 years into my career, I'm still energized by the people I meet, the neighborhoods I serve, and the opportunity to guide clients into their next chapter.
